When I receive your inquiry, I'll reach out by phone or email within 36 hours, to talk through your needs and desires for the session. Please be ready to discuss dates that might work for you!
We can connect as much or as little as you would like, but I do suggest, with the exception of mini sessions, to have a call a few days prior to discuss any last minute questions or concerns.
We'll meet in the location that we have decided upon 5-10 minutes prior to shoot time to allow us time to get to where we need to get started! Let the good times roll!!
In general, I will have 2-3 sneak peek images ready for you within the first week post session. Your full gallery will be provided via link with a print release within 4 weeks post session, unless otherwise suggested.
How many pictures will we receive?
A.Unless otherwise specified, I will share as many as I can, always! I don't like to hold onto any pictures that I'm not able to share with you so you always will receive as many as I'm able to share.
How will we receive our images?
A.They will be shared via link. They're yours to download and print as you'd like.
How should we dress for our session?
A.Ah, the most frequently asked question of frequently asked questions to photographers! What do I wear?
1. Dress in clothes that match your personality(-ies) and the season!
2. Color coordinate, gone are the days (thankfully!!) where everyone matches in the same outfit! Pinterest is helpful for finding color palettes.
3. Wear something you're comfortable in, as your true feelings will shine through your photos. This is especially important for the kiddos during cold temperatures. A cute coat or jacket can go a long way for happy kids (and happy adults too)!
4. To keep things interesting, you’ll also want to take patterns and textures into consideration. Typically, if there are multiple people in your session, it’s best to have one or two family members wear something that has a simple pattern or texture.
Always happy to help further with this if you care to share pictures or ideas!
What’s the best time to have a session with young children?
A.Nap times vary. Yet, for most kids they're so extremely important to keep in mind. Whether one or two, make sure the times you choose are not too close to nap times!
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
A.If you're anything like me, you're your own worst critique. However, there are many ways I can help, from poses and angles to fun music to keep the positive vibes alive, to conversations leading up to the big session day, I'm happy to provide encouragement and do everything I can to make sure you and your kids are most comfortable with me on the other side of the camera.
